Admission
- Graduates of nutrition, food science and technology, biological sciences/medical sciences;
- Health professionals: physicians, registered dietitians, nurses;
- Teachers of Home Economics;
- Government administrators in food and health care areas.
All candidates must meet the general admission requirements of the Graduate School of CUHK (https://www.gs.cuhk.edu.hk/admissions/requirements).
In addition to the general qualifications, applicants are preferably to have:
- obtained a Bachelor of degree in nutrition, food science and technology, biological/medical sciences, Education or related subjects with honours not lower than second class; or
- completed a course of study in nutrition, food science and technology or biological/medical sciences in a tertiary educational institution and obtained relevant professional or similar qualifications equivalent to an honours degree.
All applicants must also fulfill the “English Language Proficiency Requirement”, as stipulated by the Graduate School before being considered for admission.
Notes for Application
Please note that College English Test Band-6 (CET-6) score report is NOT accepted for the fulfillment of the English Language Proficiency Requirement for 2016-2017 admission. For details, please visit the Graduate School Website.
Full-Time Programme:
HK$173,250 per annum (for 24 units)
Part-Time Programme:
HK$86,625 per annum (for 12 units)
**HK$7,219 for each additional unit.
